Acer TimeLineX Series Notebooks Upgrade With Radeon HD 6300M, 6500M

Recently, AMD has quietly confirmed the existence of the Radeon HD 6000M series for notebooks. Today, Acer firstly introduces three TimeLineX series notebooks upgraded with the new Radeon HD 6300M, 6500M series - for 13.3" 3820TG, 14" 4820TG, 15.6" 5820TG.

The three Acer TimeLineX Series Notebooks originally come with the Radeon HD 6550M, 400 stream cores and 1024MB GDDR5/DDR3 memory, as well as Radeon HD 6370M, 80 stream cores and 512MB DDR3 memory, however, without more details of these notebooks. So far, only the TimeLineX 4820TG offers Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics card, the other two use the Intel HD Graphics cards.

More specifications of the Acer TimeLineX Series Notebooks: Core i5-460M/i3-370M/i3-350M processor, 4GB DDR3-1066 memory (up to 8GB), 320/500GB 5400RPM hard drive, DVD SuperMulti burner, 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR/3.0 + HS, six-cell 6000 mA Lithium battery and so on.

In terms of pricing Acer TimeLineX Series Notebooks, the TimeLineX 3820TG may starts from 799 euro,TimeLineX 4820TG/5820TG from 849 euro. Meanwhile, Asus also begins using Radeon HD 6000M series graphics cards.
