As you may or may nor know, Intel released a new Intel Network Connections Driver Version 15.8.1, designed for Intel PRO/100 series, Intel Gigabit series and Intel PRO/10GbE series network connections, if your PC came with an Intel network adapter, now you can download this released to update or fix issues.

If you are upgrading from version 15.8, you must first uninstall Intel Network Connections version 15.8 before installing version 15.8.1.

Download Intel Network Connections Software and Driver Version 15.8.1

You must have administrator rights to install or use Intel PROSet for Windows Device Manager. Intel recommends the following procedure for installing drivers:

  1. Cancel any Found New Hardware Wizard screens that open.
  2. Start the autorun located on the CD or in your download directory.
  3. Click "Install Drivers and Software" and follow the instructions in the install wizard.
