I got blue screened with an advisory that my cmuda.dll had caused a dump. I restarted and deleted this dll and then went hunting for the replacement which this site sent me to. I installed C-Media AC97 Audio Device driver after some trepidation and still had no sound. My grandson (a Geek agent) had me make a switch in the sound utility and I have had excellent sound since. The dll seems fine so far.

My c-media ac97 audio device doesn't work. In the device manager it's a yellow ! and a code 10. This happened after I had done a system restore. I've tried downloading different drivers, but it doesn't help. In BIOS onboard audio it's set to enabled. All the cables are correct.. I don't know what to do, some help!
