I am using XP and when connected the scanner, it says it is ready to use. Now I dont have UI to interact with Scanner. Scanner has few hard buttons like Scan, copy etc.. but pressing Scan results nothing. Then , I install this driver , amazing thing happens , the probleme solved ! Thanks !

When I scan Color images in my umax astra 5600 scanner I get a band of light blue color almost throughout the length of the scan area on the left half side. Is it a hardware related prblem or Software related. please help me. Is this driver can fix this problem ? I should make sure before I install it on !

Easy download and install. Driver works great. The only thing I haven't found yet is the PowerSaver link which allows the lamp to be shut off when the scanner is not in use. Otherwise works just as good as the Windows 95 driver that came with the 1220u originally. Thanks you guys, I can always find the solution on your website.
